“A thoroughly engaging program!  This is my 6th year as principal and 17th as an educator.  “Brain Challenge” is the best assembly I have ever seen.   My students are grades K-5 and this show captivated each and every one of the for the entire hour.  The questions were wonderfully age appropriate.  Yes, we are bringing them back next year!"

Anti-Bullying Assemblies Promote Holiday Spirit Year Round

Dec 01, 2016

The holiday season brings cheer and good will, but the spirit is not always long lasting—particularly in classrooms and schoolyards where students of different ages, backgrounds, personalities and skill levels must co-exist. Hollyrock Entertainment’s Anti-Bullying/Anti-Teasing School Show offers an engaging way to address challenging school relationships.

The assembly is a lively, fun-filled game show format that promotes understanding and offers children concrete strategies to prevent and manage teasing. The goal is to educate students on conflict avoidance and conflict resolution. Compassion and caring are the underlying messages of the fast-paced, fun-filled session.

Questions for the program were written by noted school psychologist Dr. Howard Gurr and are integrated into an age-appropriate program.

In today’s environment, bullying often starts in school but continues well past the last bell, thanks to social media. Administrators, teachers and parents we speak with want to be pro-active and address teasing and related anti-social behaviors head on. So we developed our Anti-Bullying Program and designed it to get through to kids without lecturing. Our program encourages participation by all and sends the message of sensitivity and good character wrapped in laughter and good fun.

If you are an educator who wants to address or prevent teasing and bullying in your school, call Hollyrock today.
